Treatment

Thereafter, the loose tissues beneath the skin are tightened with strong sutures. After tightening the vaginal canal, the mucosal skin is sutured closed and in case there is protruding external skin that can also be reduced to enhance aesthetic looks.

Recovery

Post-surgery there might be a downtime of one or two weeks. The patients may feel a deep ache for the initial few days and they are usually advised against the use of a tampon or intercourse for a minimum 8 weeks.
